Showing some love to the new kid on the block. Living Kitchen is one of my newest favorites (even though they’ve been around for a little over two months). They originated from Charlotte, and we’ve been lucky enough to get a Living Kitchen of our own.
Not only is this restaurant beautiful, their food and drinks are even more so. Most healthy restaurants don’t have an adequate selection of healthy drinks to choose from to pair with your meals, but this place IS the exception, because drink GALORE. So many drink options, you’re going to want to take a look at their menu before you even get there. TRUST ME. To make life easier for you, here is their menu: Living Kitchen menu

It’s so fitting that they would have an exceptional restaurant for you to admire while eating their “too pretty to eat” food.
This has to be one of my recent favorite finds, especially because you don’t expect a place like this in the location it’s at. For those of you that haven’t been, and wouldn’t expect it, I will go ahead and let you know that its located at the end of Fayetville st. Not to mention, they locally source!
Most people I know my age usually go downtown at least once a week, so make sure you at least peak in to see what your missing!
What we had on our last visit:
Pad Thai – made with mostly zucchini noodles and carrots. This was so good that a week later I owned a Zoodler! I never expected to fall in love with a food I already decently liked. This is definitely the kind of place to open your mind to new things and expand your pallet.
Veggie Burger – I had a bite, and it was so delicious! The hummus spread on it is to die for.
Obviously you can tell this guy was pretty happy with his decision. Doesn’t he look like a happy camper? He was so excited he had a fully vegan meal. ( even though this place is so good its hard to tell)
